A new event is bringing together two of St. Pete’s favorite things: history and local markets. The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club announced the launch of The Vinoy Sunday Market, a curated monthly market taking place on the waterfront at the storied resort.
The new market is part of The Vinoy’s 100th anniversary celebrations, taking place throughout 2026. The first edition takes place on Sunday, February 22, from 9 am – 12 pm along the resort’s front drive on the waterfront. Filled with local favorites, the market is free to attend and will take place every third Sunday, with the next one scheduled for Sunday, March 15.
The Vinoy is aiming to create a new take on the weekend tradition of local markets in St. Pete, pairing fresh local flavors and handcrafted goods with one of St. Pete’s most iconic waterfront settings.
“The Vinoy Sunday Market gives locals a new reason to gather, linger and connect,” the resort says, “bringing together familiar local purveyors in an open-air setting that feels equal parts neighborhood ritual and historic backdrop.”
St. Pete’s market scene is flourishing, and the resort plans to bring a new twist to the lineup. They are pairing a historic waterfront location with a curated lineup “rooted in existing local partnerships.” The Vinoy Market fill have a slower social pace, “designed for lingering, not rushing.”
